For Range Rover’s 40th Birthday, Mansory’s Switzerland branch has developed a new tuning program for the Sport model. The new tuning program gives the SUV a more aggressive face with new aerodynamic body work, upgraded monoblock wheels, a refinished interior, and added performance upgrades for each of the Sport’s gasoline and diesel engines.
The new aerodynamic body kit for the Range Rover Sport from Mansory is designed to be more aggressive, powerful, and athletic than the stock model. All of the components are made with lightweight and durable Polyurethane Reinforced Plastic (PU-RIM) with an OEM quality fit. At the front of the SUV is a new spoiler with vertically arranged LED lighting strips and large air intakes. This helps to cool both the engine and brakes while increasing downforce at the front axle for better stability at high speeds. A new hood has also been installed and was made using the carbon prepreg method. The lightweight hood uses a power dome to produce a more muscular appearance and features air outlets to help cool the engine. Along each side of the Mansory Range Rover Sport are aerodynamic side skirts and wider fenders that house the large Range Rover wheels. The rear of the SUV is outfitted with a new rear diffuser with carbon fiber insert and carbon fiber roof spoiler. These two components help to generate downforce at the rear axle. Completing the bodywork are new carbon fiber D-pillars.
In order to give the Range Rover Sport that added look of confidence, Mansory had to replace the stock Range Rover wheels with new monoblock wheels, performance tires, and a lowered suspension. New 23-inch monoblock wheels were installed with 315/25 R23 high-performance tires for added grip. The suspension was then lowered to make the wheels fit snug inside the extended fenders with a new air suspension module that lowers the SUV by up to 30 mm.
Each of the engines also required tuning so that the SUV wasn’t “all-show and no-go.” Mansory developed new engine tuning packages for both the naturally-aspirated and supercharged gasoline V-8 engines as well as the diesel engines. Each package helps increase output by approximately 30 horsepower and 40 Nm of torque with an ECU tune, sport air filters, and sport exhaust systems.
Inside of the Range Rover Sport by Mansory is a host of luxurious amenities. Mansory has fitted an ergonomic center console, sports steering wheel, and aluminum pedals. The interior also features numerous leather accents and either carbon fiber or wood trim.
The Mansory Range Rover Sport is luxurious and sporty. The new package has replaced the stock Range Rover wheels with monoblock wheels, added an aerodynamic body kit, increased the engine output, and refinished the interior. Pricing for the complete package has not been released.
